I was tasked with creating an art nouveau-inspired poster based on my response from either prompts: "What causes do I passionately care about and how do they relate to me?" Or "What products can I enthusiastically endorse, why, and how are they useful? And to whom?" I decided to pick the first as I felt I could create more visual impact in the poster vs. the second. One cause that I greatly care about is food waste as I love to cook and I became very disheartened to learn about how much food went to waste after I started worked as a cook at a restaurant. Gisbert Combaz's work during the Art Nouveau era seemed very interesting in the way he deployed a playful geometric background. Using every part of an animal to the fullest is the message I wanted to convey with this poster.
